How would you change Apple's iPhone 3G? {Engadget}
Aug 1st 2008 7:37PM Because I'm a first time iPhone owner, I don't really have anything to compare the current firmware with. It seems somewhat buggy, in that sometimes when I launch an application the phone will return to the home screen or restart all together. Overall, however, it's pretty good.
I would like to see a few simple things added to the OS:
-MMS: This would be great, because it's hard to remember the code and password AT&T sends when you receive a MMS. So, either MMS, or my next request:
-Copy and Paste: This seems pretty simple. Although I don't use it that often, when I need it, I need it BADLY. It's more of an inconvenience than anything else.
Finally,
-some sort of AirTunes integration: It would be nice to find a song in the iPod application that you like, be able to select "Living Room" or whichever AirTunes speaker, and have it play, just how iTunes on the Mac works. It's probably not as popular of a request, but I would love to see it.
Oh and some sort of camera flash would be nice.
Ask Engadget: Best backpack for traveling with gadgets? {Engadget}
Jun 19th 2008 10:36PM I use the Surge backpack from The North Face
It doesn't seem like a gadget bag, but it has many padded pockets and a dedicated padded laptop compartment.

iPhone 3G purchase and activation will be in-store only {Engadget}
Jun 9th 2008 10:37PM That REALLY REALLY sucks.
I have an Apple Store gift card that was given to me a couple months ago to aid towards my purchase of the iPhone. Apple will surely be selling the phone in their retail stores, right?
So, are you gonna get an iPhone 3G? {Engadget}
Jun 9th 2008 7:24PM I'm going to get one, but I'm unhappy about the $30 data charge, because I will need to add on 1500 text messages, so it ends up being $40.
Add that to the data plan, and you have $80.
3G iPhone to be discounted to $199 by AT&T? {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 29th 2008 8:56PM this doesn't seem likely.
First, Engadget's "reliable source" claimed that the 3G iPhone would be slightly thicker. Second, i can't see Apple keeping the 8GB iPhone around for too much longer, because European carriers have already heavily discounted the phone, making it far more likely to have a 16GB and 32GB version.
