Jul 6th 2009 6:37PM Yeah, My guess is someone thought it looked cool. I'm an engineer/machinist and when I do complex contours like that, it looks like that untill we buff it smooth. My boss usually says it looks cool and we shouldn't buff it, but buffing lets you smooth out any scratches, so it's far easier to handle if you can remove mistakes. Plus, smooth contoured metal looks pretty sweet.
Oh well. It's a nice design mechanically, but it's a silly product.

Jul 3rd 2009 5:45PM Hmm... i bought a cheap case, mobo, processor, video card, ram, and power supply for less than $300 at Frys. Used an old hard drive and installed Ubuntu, and now I can stream glorious 1080p from my desktop. And I don't keep track but I'm pretty sure that's cheaper than a PS3 by a lot.

Jun 29th 2009 7:45PM Apparently GV can just text you a transcription of your voicemail, and you can just set them up on speed dial when you want to actually listen, so you could pretty much do this without an app at all, as long as you can forward your calls.

Jun 29th 2009 7:40PM You probably wouldn't get the updates automatically, as I know unlocked G1 owners on ATT don't, but there are better sources of updates anyway, like xda-developers.com.

I loved call of duty back in the day, but I never played COD: Modern Warfare much so the name just doesn't stick in my head.
I'm always interested to hear about a new "Call of Duty game" because I liked the original call of duty. I'm not looking for a new "Modern Warfare" game, so I probably wouldn't even notice it amongst all the games out there if I saw it on a shelf.
That's why every Halo game from now to eternity will have "Halo" in it's name, so people know what it is supposed to be!
