Jul 17th 2008 1:17PM There will always be controversy with almost every Apple product doing something because of the fact that almost everything done to it is in the public eye. Like, Windows Mobile phones ROMS are always being reflashed on devices and modified. All that was done to stop this by M$ was that the ROMS could no longer be stored at XDA-Dev FTP site. Although, there are ways around that.
I kind of feel bad for iPhone users because your potential is limited by silly software and contractual limitations.
If the iPhone had it all (which I believe it still doesn't), it would still be limited just by the fact that it is the iPhone and only one of it exists at a time.
I really hope poeple read my comment and don't just see M$ and think I am a fanboy of some sort.

Jul 13th 2008 4:12AM I got a 360 because its a gaming console and it does a good job of that. Although I wish I could add my own SATA drive legally without worrying about being banned. I really hope the PS4 will give the next Xbox a run for its money. That way, M$ has to open the system up like Sony has for the most part (Memory Sticks, USB HDD, swappable 2.5" SATA HDD, BT headset,store music from PC, store videos from PC...)

Engadget, I think TUAW does enough reporting for Apple. Switch it up a little so that non interested readers don't take a 24-hr break from your blog whenever another Apple product comes out.
