Jun 30th 2008 10:12PM The claim that there's little overlap is a huge load of bullshit. RIM themselves admitted that they were aiming at typical consumers and NOT businesses with the pearl and curve lines.
I switched from a Blackberry (Pearl) to an iPhone, and I'm sure that millions of others switched from RIM devices to get the iPhone.

Jun 26th 2008 6:55PM The previous generation Passats, Jettas, and Golfs looked amazing for their time. VW should've further developed these styles instead of going for a completely different look. The cars went from angular, stylishly boxy designs to bloated, bubbly, Japanese look-a-likes. (But somehow they still look a bit better than many other new cars.)

This model in particular looks almost exactly like the Nokia 2610.

Jan 12th 2008 10:02AM Magnetized ports would be a nightmare on cell phones. It's bad enough on my Macbook- if I'm sitting on a couch with the power cord plugged in, it easily comes undone. It would be really irritating to have to deal with my car charger cord disconnecting from my phone half the time I pick it up to take a call...
