May 14th 2008 3:55PM Hey MEW (that would be your intials, clever, arent I?) MVNO's will always suck, because they just do not have the backbone or the funds to be honest and up front about marketing deals, sideways discounts or contracts.
But we new this! The idea of two virtual companies trying to create a shadow company is about the saddest thing I have ever heard. Its like that movie IMPOSTER, no one knows who you are.

O2 to announce 3G iPhone in "the coming weeks" {Engadget}
May 14th 2008 12:14PM Every carrier or source saying the iphone is to be announced is from another country (or planet). I hope this does not mean (or maybe I do hope) that the US release of the new iphone will be at the same time. I guess the only place you can really keep it quiet is in the US.
I would imagine, it must be on the FCC somewhere by now.

May 13th 2008 6:45AM The thing about the 3G ipohne is, the 3g isnt going to work on tmo (which is probably the bulk of where they are going on the US) unless the 3g iphone offers something you dont need to use within 3G like a real GPs mapping program, then there would not be much of a point of unlocking it for tmo.
or maybe its just the taste.
