Jul 18th 2008 1:22AM I don't understand why people complain about engadget making articles about the iPhone frequently. I enjoy the articles. and people should take a little intrest. Most phones that are out now a days are based off of the iPhone. You should all be grateful and if a TECHNOLOGY blogging site wants to write about a TECHNOLOGY device. let it be.

I've been thinking about wether I should get an iPhone 3G and sell my orginal one. But after all the reviews I've read, I just don't know this year has a worthy upgrade. The 3G IS nice but for the cost....maybe it's just better to wait another year. Or maybe until your iPhone were to break and you just decide to go with the upgrade there...

But anyway, almost 1K for a fake gun that would prolly look AWESOME to be walking around with during holloween or something. But 950 is just too much. I know its made of great quaitly but just like the gears and Spartan suits, nobody is going to buy if the price is like twice a payment for a car. And with the gas price going up and up by the day. Buying a toy gun is way to expensive. Its probably cheaper to be a real gun and robbing an idiot who bought the lancer.

Jul 8th 2008 1:09PM This was a very well writen article. I agree with everything Erica said. This year's iPhone just isn't worth the waiting in line and espically dropping those few hundred bucks. Apple is a year if not more behind then some of the other smart phones. Like the N96, that phone is coming out soon and it has awesome features. Apple should start looking at the competition or else the iPhone will just be a phase, going to die out within like 3 years.
