Analyst opines T-Mobile might want in on Canadian spectrum sale {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 3rd 2008 3:53PM I agree with all of the comments about the benefits of increased competition and lowering of data rates to be more in line with those in the US and Europe. If T-Mobile would come in as another independent it would make the playing field much more interesting. The real benefit of T-Mobile entering Canada is that they would bring a wake-up call to the other carriers, with their WiFi/Mobile routers and competitive plans, the other providers would get a much earned kick in the backside.

Canadians get HTC Vox before US {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 13th 2007 4:43PM I just had a "hands-on" with the lovely vox, what Telus has dubbed the S720. As always HTC has produced a finely crafted piece of hardware and there is no doubt that I would jump on this, except for two reasons. The first,well the prospect of a three year Telus contract simply gives me the willies. Much better to purchase the vox outright and then "pay as you go" you say?. Problem is that the vox on Telus has also had the wireless disabled, why oh why did Telus do that???
If you like the vox, get down to a Telus store and and feel it for yourself. Then buy the GSM version (Wi-Fi enabled) on eXpansys and grab a card from your fave provider.
