Internet radio Day of Silence in action {Download Squad}

Jun 26th 2007 5:46PM I agree with Lee (comment #2).
I'm Catalan (from Spain) and here there's a lot of people hearing internet music, basically US radio stations, along our regional stations.

Besides that, what about foreign stations? If they want to broadcast using Shoutcast servers (or any other kind of server, hosted in the US), do they have to shut down due to that music has to be licensed in some way to be processed by those servers? (or listened inside the US)?

I hope that law doesn't get approved.

Good luck, Webcasters!

Wii Warm Up: Toward satisfaction {Joystiq Nintendo}

Mar 24th 2007 10:56PM Here in Spain, we have normal stock in shops since last week.

Warning, this is an Ad:
VISIT SPAIN & GET A WII!
;-)

In regard of controllers, we can barely find a Wii Play plus Wiimote, and there's no clue about nunchucks.

Note to who's trying to find a PS3, too: You can find a lot of PS3 here. Today was 2nd day since launch, and at 21:00h there was plenty of them on the shelves.

Those topics aren't real for every region in Spain. Each Autonomous Community (like States in USA), has its own culture, and even language. For instance, flamenco is typical from Andalucía, but it's not so typical in any of the other 16 Communities.

Catalunya (Barcelona) perhaps it's sangria and paella land, but It's not 'tapas' nor 'encierro' land. ;-P

The next time, have some "Butifarra amb Seques", and put some "All i Oli", and then you tell me...

Oh, the humanity! {Joystiq Playstation}

Nov 27th 2006 4:56AM If they're sooo bored to do that, does it mean that:
1) Are they tired playing 360?
2) Are they afraid that the Ps3 will succeed?
3) Are they just insane?

Do they have any child? If so, please protect those children's minds from these freaky "parents"
Please.

5 reasons to go next-gen later {Joystiq}

Oct 20th 2006 4:15AM I'm always in a big contradiction...

1) I only accept the newest tech, so when a digicam pops out, I only love the features that goes with that one.

2) I only accept paying prices under 200 euros/200 dollars (*) (for a "home" console). And 150$ for a portable one.

Games and accessories are also another story.

(*) yes: 1$ = 1eur. That's the price exchange we get here in europe, for tech products. -don't understand-

Zuneguy says so in his blog, but that domain is on sale.

Venzero's "LifeSaver" USB drive {Engadget}

Jul 28th 2006 8:43AM Even if the price is in USD or EUR, the quantity will be more or less the same everywhere: 149€ = 149$ (Remember that here in europe we have VAT ...) Then, the difference in the exchange is equilibrated with the taxes.
