Safari 'carpet bombing' exploit could be serious {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
May 30th 2008 1:58AM Safari didn't see an update in the 10.5.3 update, and WebKit was not updated to the latest nightlies (Safari still does not pass Acid3 after 10.5.3 where as Latest WebKit does) so I think it's fairly safe to assume a Safari update will be pushed out the door rather soon, possibly at WWDC. Until then, Meh. This isn't major. If it could execute what it downloaded, then it'd be major. Until then, Safari will stay my default browser.

Mar 28th 2008 12:50PM It'll be interesting to see if this is something like a lib_tiff exploit, and not in any way related to OSX other than it uses the lib_tiff (Or whatever package has the flaw) library. Or if it's an issue directly with OSX and code Apple wrote.

The changing life and times of Leopard {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 13th 2008 11:18PM I noticed today that when my battery is at 95% before it would say Charging in the menubar and was kind of misleading (I later learned from Apple that this is normal, it prevents wear on the battery.) Now it says Not Charging. Small little change, but nice to know.
10.5.2 makes your WoW go faster {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 11th 2008 11:37PM I've also noticed that Crossover runs Portal much faster. The ending scene used to run at 2-10FPS, after the 10.5.2 update closer to 20-30FPS.
Well done Apple.

Dec 18th 2007 3:06AM Question: I have my iTunes library spread across 2 Mac's (My portable and my home machine.) and 1 iPod. I want to keep the iPod in sync with both computers, but powers greater than me won't allow this. I've been looking for a solution for a while with no luck. I know I can manually manage the iPod, but that's just a whole lot of work.
