Use Augmented Reality to find your car {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 3rd 2009 3:32PM It all depends on where you are. For example, I was looking for an app like this the other day when I went to the fair. I parked in a parking lot I was fairly unfamiliar with, and had to walk half a mile to get in, plus it was going to be dark when I got back.

HTC HD2 fulfills its unboxing obligations on video {Engadget}

Oct 27th 2009 1:50PM Marc, I want to ask this very honestly. I assure you I don't mean it in any other way, but for those of you that still ask for a physical keyboard, have you even tried a virtual keyboard and given it any time? I have an iPhone now, and previously had a phone with a physical keyboard that slid out. At first the iPhone took getting used to, however once you do, I can type at least twice, if not three times as fast on the iPhone than I ever could on a physical keyboard.

The keys to a good virtual keyboard is that they have to be big enough screens so that it's not TOO cramped, and it HAS to be a capacitive screen. Resistive screens DO suck for virtual keyboards, but with a capacitive screen I'd never go back to a physical keyboard.

Apple's Magic Mouse: one button, multitouch gestures, Bluetooth, four-month battery life {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 12:16PM I'd kind of have to agree. I love their keyboards, but their mice are overpriced and hard to like. I love Apple, but their constant push to make things more simple is annoying when it comes to a mouse. I have 5 fingers on my hand, I'm not too stupid to use them, so you don't have to keep removing buttons. We'll see how this one does though. I'll give it a try before placing an opinion on it.

Oct 20th 2009 12:11PM I can only assume they'll have drivers for Boot Camp, so I'm sure it will work for Windows in time, at least partially.

BMW Lovos concept makes Chris Bangle look drab {Autoblog}

Sep 26th 2009 3:52AM I'm with you KA. I personally loved Bangle's designs. Being the owner of an E92 335i, I constantly get compliments on my car, so it can't be too bad. Also, I think the E60 5 series BMWs were some of the best looking cars on the road. Now, the 7 and 1 series I don't like as much, but I still don't see how so many people can dislike his designs. As much as I like older BMWs too, the current 3s look light years better than the E46s, which I really liked as well. The sedans are a bit boring, but the coupe looks amazing.

Now, on the contrary, designs like this one make me shake my head and wonder why my money is being wasted on such a ridiculous waste of time.
