Aug 9th 2009 1:46PM Irregardless is a nonstandard word, because it contains a double negation (prefixed ir- and suffixed -less). Also, it was an obvious troll by Leo and you guys fell hard for it.
How would you change the Palm Pre? {Engadget}
Jul 4th 2009 1:06AM I don't know. I never liked the iPhone keyboard, though WebOS could use some predictive text. I could type pretty fast, first time on a cell keyboard, the moment I picked the phone up. I think physical keyboard is faster, and makes the screen real estate more efficient. iPhone keyboard takes at least half the screen, so you can't use it and see things at the same time. This allows Palm to keep their phone relatively small, pocketable, one-handed is comfortable, etc. It's not an iPod, it's a portable phone, and I like it as such.
My only suggestion is to work on build quality issues, and get that SDK and apps coming. But the latter is only a matter of time.
Blockbuster voices "substantial doubt" about ability to survive {Engadget}
Apr 7th 2009 11:39AM My local blockbuster is actually running a special trial of new pricing on rentals. We got a new release blu-ray for $1 for one day. They're also charging much less (like $3) for PS3/360 games, and the late fee is just $1 per day. I don't know if they're going to spread this to other stores, but it would definitely make me more likely to rent from them if they do.
Palm Pre: everything you ever wanted to know {Engadget}
Jan 13th 2009 5:58PM It won't sync with the desktop--it's all synchronized online. "No more palm desktop." is what I've read.

Jan 13th 2009 5:45PM They've said that the old apps are not supported, but with the huge demand, they've said they're confident someone will make an emulator.

I assume that when they say it will "Launch in the US as a Sprint exclusive", they mean just that. At the moment of launch, it will be exclusive. Who knows whether they're working with other networks to release a couple of months later on.
Google secretly crafts Android codename "cupcake," fixes and features aplenty {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 18th 2008 4:42PM Android's getting there. I will put up with my crappy old phone if it means shiny new Android phones in '09. Maybe a few upgrades to the OS are in order as well.
Win an AT&T Fuze from HTC and Engadget Mobile! {Engadget Mobile}
Dec 18th 2008 4:35PM Why I want this:
1. I've been using a Motorla L6 for 2 years.
2. I'm already on AT&T.
3. I would eventually put Android on it and show my iPhone-having fanboy friends the power of open source on a decent handset (i.e. not the G1).

Sharp's tegakichat concept phone brings the purikura booth to girls' pockets {Engadget}
Sep 30th 2008 1:19PM Wow, multiple errors in a correction comment? Nanka hazukashikunai? Fixed: shiNjirarenai; kiotsukeTE or ki wo tsukete (usually followed by NE, rarely NA).
But you are right that the OP title should read "puriKURA".

Jul 20th 2006 1:26PM It's not 100% clean and may not be "energy positive" if the electic company uses coal to make your electricity. Great car though, wish I could buy one (I'd get the solar panel one, who needs "cool" paint?). Also, I noticed this car isn't much bigger than a Miata. The angle pics make it look longer.
