Top five handset manufacturers get together for treehuggin' chargers {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 19th 2008 10:06PM How about we get common chargers so that we aren't tossing so many in the landfills? Yes I know, its huge profit center for them (cost of these chargers are .18-.25, don't ask me why I know this), but won't that be more earth friendly then worrying about the amount of electricity a charger uses?
