T-Mobile G1 coming to Walmart for $148.88 {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 12th 2008 6:25PM Just some FYI form the "friendly" T-Mob peeps:

If you get a Wally-G1 they will not support it. Both Wally and T-Mob will tell you to go to the other place for fix, repair, support, replace.

My response: Your company does not support anything anyway. And that is a message to anyone else who has had to lick ball sweat from the BBerry staff at T-Mob to get anything done.

This may not be the universal consensus, but my local (pr!ck) sales store guy let me know.

C'mon white space? But seriously folks...when are the mobile providers going to catch up and turn into dumb-pipes and let me get my own hardware? What is with all of the velvet ropes? These phones are still hacked and unlocked.
