Jul 17th 2006 11:58AM My DS Also has the crack. always opened with care, always kept in a case. I don't think the crack really affects the unit too much though.... but I'm definitely not going to spend $40-$50 to fix it. Oh yea, I've had it since it was released, and I just noticed the crack recently.
