1) Phone is much snappier, transitions faster, and closes programs in a heartbeat
2) Camera lag significantly reduced.
3) Web browsing is BLAZING fast
4) Media player runs much smoother, i.e. you can actually slide the progress bar around now.

No video recording? BAM!
No push email for non gmail addys? BAM!
Since my Curve does 5/5 of the above and the G1 does 0/5, I think I'll hold off on my purchase.
