Oct 23rd 2009 3:12AM because they way you flash android phones is by using a micro-sd card.It has something to do with the way the bootloader works.HTC branded phones (read: That are NOT powered by google) use a flashing program throught windows , the rest use a combination of OTA+MicroSD flashing
