Jun 25th 2008 3:42AM Forget Cordless, this is VoIP. If your internet is down due to a power outage, so is your phone service. This is not Central Office powered, hence not a true "landline", even with a corded handset.

Mar 25th 2008 11:50AM Using the logic that the "airwaves" are public, the following items would be subject to the same scrutiny, and censorship: Satellite TV, Wireless Data (Wi-Fi, WiMax, Point to Point Licensed links, etc.) Cellular, any part of the internet which relies on wireless backhauls. I think you get the point. SatRad is no more public domain than any of the other items I have named.

Cool technology idea: for anyone who is too drunk to drive, but continues on anyway, it should navigate them to the nearest police station, or over an uninhabited cliff, whichever is closer.
