Sep 8th 2008 11:25AM I have mine for a week after Labor Day. Perhaps they tweaked it after all these negative reviews and I certainly was concerned, but my phone has no battery and sound problems. I am satisfied. The curious thing about it was the manual has no description of its military specs except that the phone is "water resistant" in tap water only. Not waterproof?
