Aug 31st 2009 11:05PM Glad to hear about video. Does the PS3 support fast forwarding or rewinding .mp3 files? My stupid XBox 360 doesn't.

Microsoft invites some of its bestest OEM buddies over for a Windows 7 RTM code handoff party {Engadget}

Jul 25th 2009 2:15PM Brilliant! By assuming that I "hate corporations" you can avoid any rational engagement with the widespread stifling of innovation that Microsoft has caused.

Oh wait, I meant Micro$oft.

Microsoft invites some of its bestest OEM buddies over for a Windows 7 RTM code handoff party {Engadget}

Jul 25th 2009 2:07PM Hi!

In computer science, "code" is an abbreviation of "source code". Which means "human readable". As opposed to "binaries".

Just because Micro$oft wants to obscure this difference, and I wonder why they might want to, doesn't mean you have to also.

Sony Ericsson ditching Memory Stick Micro cards in favor of MicroSD {Engadget}

Jun 1st 2009 6:36PM I couldn't care less about proprietary vs. non-proprietary. All I know is that

-SD variants are almost an order of magnitude cheaper at large sizes;
-I have many gadgets in my life that already use SD variants.

Please understand that when people use the word 'proprietary' they are referring to a cluster of properties that includes number of manufacturers, number of interoperable devices, and price.

Yes, it's getting the word wrong. It doesn't mean the sentiment is wrong.

Jan 7th 2009 10:22AM what a joke. Real Djs

blah blah blah blah blah blah

anyone been to Ibiza lately? Seen the variety of technologies being used there? I counted about 1 in 5 Djs using records on a turntable. I think the whole timecoded vinyl business is entirely for show.
