T-Mobile's Project Dark: $99.99 unlimited on Even More, $79.99 on Even More Plus? {Engadget Mobile}

Sprint has 500 minutes + unlimited txt & data + AnyMobile AnyTime + GPS Nav + TV, etc for $60/month on their EPRP plan (or $70 - corp disc. on regular retail plan). $80 for the same minutes/txt/data and fewer features on a shoddier network? No thanks.
No-contract $30 / $45 Straight Talk wireless plans storm Walmart {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 14th 2009 2:41PM Darren,
The snarky undertones in your story aren't really necessary. It's exactly these types of pre-paid ultra low plans (ST, Page Plus, Metro PCS, Boost, Cricket, etc) which are placing *long-overdue* pressure on the major 4 carriers to lower plan rates. We've already seen that happen at Sprint and perhaps soon T-Mobile with their "Project Dark" (rumored $50 unlimited plan).
I look forward to a future where the big 4 have similar voice/data/txt plans at the $50 mark and not the $70-100 ripoffs currently being charged.
HTC HD2 inches closer to reality, hitting Europe in October for around 600 Euro? {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 25th 2009 1:32PM As US-based cell user, and a Sprint customer at that, all this HD2 news is depressing..
Engadget team: any news or rumors whatsoever of Sprint getting the Touch Diamond2 / Whitestone? It passed FCC review a few months ago but we haven't heard anything since.. no pics, rumors, dates or anything.
Palm webOS system upgrades mandatory; hacking scene forbidden from tethering {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 15th 2009 12:08PM Lack of tethering is the dealbreaker for me on the Pre. What are these brilliant corporate types thinking? Business users no longer need tether? Ridiculous...
O2 Germany gets HTC Touch Diamond2 as the uncreatively-named Xda Diamond2 {Engadget Mobile}
May 19th 2009 5:31PM Really? Which roadmap? The most recent ones dropped any mention of the Topaz/TD2.. (at least for 2009)

New York Times: Palm Pre to launch in the first week of June {Engadget Mobile}
May 18th 2009 8:19PM Please PLEASE let there be a tethering app for this device (or a PDAnet port). I rarely tether, once every month maybe, so it doesn't make sense to get a tethering plan, but it is urgently needed at those times. That's really the one reason why I'd never leave WindowsMobile.
Sprint's 2009 roadmap comes to light, packed with goodies {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 16th 2009 5:45PM Can't believe the Diamond2 / Topaz didn't show up! After all the rumors that we might even see a May/June release of it (matching europe). I knew that was too good to be true, but now it's not even on the roadmap at all?? Huge bummer..
Palm Pre no longer features data tethering on Sprint website {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 19th 2009 6:18PM 100% deal killer for many.
