Is it time to drop your iPhone plan and buy a MiFi? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 9th 2009 2:19PM Why do people have the rational that if you got the iPhone 3G, which is a subsidized device, and you're still in a 2-yr contract with AT&T, that AT&T should let you replace it with the 3GS? They're still re-couping their investment from your iPhone 3G.

Hence the extra cost to upgrade while in contract.

Aug 25th 2008 12:44PM This is an unfair post - people are misinterpreting the message as a snide remark. Photosynth is a company that Microsoft recently acquired. The company is keen on being Mac-compatible, and their technology is awesome. Obviously, if you were to release a product, it's a good idea to support the 90% of users first.

Go Photosynth!
