FCC chairman formally proposes net neutrality rules {Engadget}
Sep 21st 2009 3:50PM Matt, are you kidding me? I had a much better connection in Poland (by provider owned by government!) than I have now in Central London. Internet in the UK totally suck, data caps and fair use policies are ridiculous, your "8 mbit" pipe never works as 8mbit should. Back in Poland I had 6mbit and downloads like 750 kb/s all the time, not just at 3am on Friday.

Jul 1st 2009 4:54PM O2 is a bit better than Orange but still sucks pretty much compared to T-Mobile which I find the best carrier in the UK. Too bad they've got shitty phones ;(

How would you change Apple's Nehalem-based Mac Pro? {Engadget}
May 9th 2009 1:46AM Chris, I agree that they're overpriced. On the other hand, RED One is like $40-50k with lenses and a workstation for Assimilate Scratch would cost you $15-40k. Depends how you look at the prices. I'd love to see a cheaper MacPro, though :-)
