iPhone line forms at Apple's flagship for absolutely no reason {Engadget}

May 22nd 2008 9:57PM People were waiting in line, and most didn't know why? Obviously, Steve Jobs was in the store's basement, testing his upgraded reality distortion field.

Or sunspots. It's always sunspots.

Actually, recent Macs don't have TPM's. My MacBook Pro (Core 2, not Santa Rosa) doesn't have a TPM chip.

Giveaway: super rare E Ink watch! {Engadget}

Jul 6th 2007 10:54PM A Japanese watch? Maybe that'll fit on my thin wrists. (It's weird, because the rest of me is a bit overweight.)

If I win this contest, I can look forward to wearing a watch that doesn't slide around, or force me to wear it higher up on my arm like a tasteless idiot.

This watch will be replacing me rummaging through my pockets for a cell phone.

iPhone to make do without Flash? {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 15th 2007 12:37AM Well, I'm not surprised. Flash isn't a simple plugin; like all other OS X plugins, you need an Intel version for Intel machines, and a PowerPC version for PowerPC machines. Now, you need an ARM version for ARM-based machines such as the iPhone, which simply doesn't exist.

Could it be made? Absolutely. Go talk to Adobe about this one.

Same here. There were PowerBooks long before there was PowerPC, so there's no reason why we can't have a Woodcrest Power Mac. It's got "Mac" in the name, so it should be safe.

MacBook Pro, and now Mac Pro? Excuse me while I wretch on my PowerBook.
