Nokia offering 96 N96 handsets in limited edition packaging {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 12th 2008 1:20PM I'm not really bothered what it comes in, as long as it works straight out the box and doesn't require firmware updates every 5 minutes after release.

People will pay this price just to have a limited packaging version. And if Nokia is giving something back to the wildlife then I suppose it's a worthy action.

What it doesn't say is that everyone else gets their shiny new N96 in a reusable carrier bag complete with biodegradable manual! ;-)
