Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 hands-on, sorta {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 26th 2008 11:16AM Older pics of the Xperia had the curved keypad, what's up with this? Definitely need more side pics.
This phone with more development, could have potentially been the proverbial Iphone killer.
Sprint's HTC Touch (Vogue) gets Windows Mobile 6.1 update {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 26th 2008 10:49AM Give me a Touch Pro or Diamond Sprint. At least it has Windows Mobile now.
Blackberry Bold release date delayed? {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 25th 2008 7:06PM A delay for AT&T means a delay in the phone eventually reaching the two carriers I have, Sprint & T-mo. I may not like AT&T but along with Verizon, at least they are making available products that don't look either contrived, cheap, or outdated.
Sprint's $130 Samsung Instinct twists free {Engadget Mobile}

The Instinct I tried did have service and was being used to show capabilities - but you are right about the additions of uploads/downloads would make it lag big time. Also didn't test it running multiple functions.
T-Mobile's entire 3G lineup gets handled {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 24th 2008 2:46PM This pisses me off. All their decent phones are out overseas, and here in the U.S. we get their cheap looking crap. T-mo is even carrying the Iphone in Germany. If there is a decent phone out here, the price is always jacked up.
Sprint's $130 Samsung Instinct twists free {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 21st 2008 12:49PM I have a few friends who work for Sprint.
First, the Instinct was available in stores June 19th, and those customers who pre-registered got a coupon for an additional $100 of the cost.
Secondly, if you already have Sprint and are eligible for the upgrade credit of $150 w/ 2 year contract, your total cost will still come to $229, before the $100 rebate.
Third I tested the phone almost two weeks ago, and the model that was being used was a different type of Instinct then the one being sold. The one one I tried minimized the haptic problems, and seemed to have fluidity going from one action to another. My contact even told me not to buy one ( I just needed a new Sprint phone in general), because of the model being sold not being the same quality as the one he had. I would be better off waiting for a new BB and the Android phones.
