Palm WebOS 1.2.1 now available, 'fixes' iTunes media sync {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 3rd 2009 4:15PM Way to go Palm. Gives consumers more choices. Simple as that.
HTC Leo looking confirmed for O2 UK debut, will be free on the right plan {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 25th 2009 7:26PM I think the HSDPA bands are the same s ATT. The question is, can ATT lock this phone out of it's data network being an "illegal alien" and all.
I am a Palm fanboy since the late 90s and have owned a ton of Palm OS devices. But I want this phone and will gladly take WM6.5 on it. It's wide and tall, but since I use a Jawbone for voice 95% of the time, who cares.
Screaming chipset
Monster screen
Killer videos
Tiny bezel
Thin
Battery life. Hmmmm?
Will it have a voice recorder?
This is my Tungsten T3 with phone that I've dreamed of since 2004.
I may buy this from Europe and run my ATT sim in it. As long as someone else trys it out first. :-D
HTC Leo Windows Mobile 6.5 slate is capacitive? (update: video!) {Engadget}
Sep 24th 2009 1:45PM Size is about perfect. Tiny wasted bezel space and killer screen. 90%+ of my voice usage is with my Jawbone BT headset. Tiny phones are not a must.
The Palm Pixi is official, headed to Sprint this holiday season -- we've got hands-on and video! {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 11th 2009 5:43PM If you had the choice of Pixi or Dixi ... which would you choose?

This is the kind of design that I keep looking for.
Sprint loses $384m, 257k subscribers in first quarter of Pre availability {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 29th 2009 3:53PM A "quarter" is three months and those three months ended on June 30th. The Pre was only in the fold for about 2 weeks of the reporting period. Asking Palm and the Pre to return Sprint to profitability and market leadership in a couple of weeks might be a bit ambitious.
The impact of WebOS device(s) will not be realized until 3rd quarter reporting at Sprint.
HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian lives it up in the wild, sneaks in a stylus for the nostalgic types {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 24th 2009 3:24PM Why hate on the stylus as if the world has moved on from such wanton trash? One of my biggest nags about giving up my Treo 680 for the Pre or iPhone is the fact that I can scribble quick notes, numbers, or drawings on DiddleBug with unmatched flexibility and probably done before even getting to the app on the gesture devices. Don't get me wrong, I'm moving into the new century soon, but the stylus as noted in the post above cannot totally be replaced by fingers, keys and / or directionals. I would love to have one on the Pre, that is if the capacitives could recognize it.
Original Motorola RAZR refuses to die, spawns new LuK Hot Pink version in Korea {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 24th 2009 3:17PM All joking aside, the original RAZR was one phenominal device in it's day. The sales numbers will attest to that. Moto should be a case study from that point until now of how to destroy your lead in the marketplace. Down like an anchor.
Confirmed: Palm Pre's iTunes support is very, very hacky {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 5th 2009 12:14AM If Apple hacks back, then Palm can just re-hack to change the root USB node to iPod with and over the air update to the Pre.
Sprint and Palm admit that they don't expect wild lines for Pre {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 4th 2009 3:43PM Sharp as a potato.
Sprint and Palm admit that they don't expect wild lines for Pre {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 4th 2009 3:43PM Yeah. Look what disaster befell Apple for making that mistake. Idiots!
