Palm webOS system upgrades mandatory; hacking scene forbidden from tethering {Engadget}

Jun 15th 2009 5:03PM I never understood what the big deal is with tethering. Why is Sprint against this? What does it matter where the data finally ends? Data is data, whether it stops at the phone or a connected comp.

Apple introducing cheaper iPhone on Monday? {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 5th 2009 6:59PM I'm sure the service plan will go up by $10/month to cover the phantom savings the sheep think they are getting.

Microsoft's "Pink" smartphone could rival iPhone on Verizon {Engadget Mobile}

May 4th 2009 3:56PM Since 2005? A mere FOUR years? That's a lifetime to you? How old are you, like 10? Umm, here's a clue: eventually EVERY company and top selling item gets overtaken. Just ask GM, Xerox, Seiko, IBM, Standard Oil, etc. about how they could never be dethroned. Shit even your precious Apple used to own 100% of the personal computer market at one point. And one day, the iFone and EyePod will be dethroned. It's the way things work, NO ONE ever rules forever.

Exploding cellphone battery that killed Chinese man was actually a gun {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 11th 2009 4:50PM So is it an "imitation firearm", or an "actual firearm"?. The story itself cannot make up its mind on this crucial "fact". Or was this a KIRF gun?

Palm investor McNamee details Pre's neat location-based features {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 19th 2009 5:24PM I myself own a Treo, but is Palm paying Engadget to hype the Pre? The pro-Pre rah-rah-rah-ing here is even more blatant than Slashdot's fake slash-vertisement stories. Did Engadget get any knee pads at least, for all the promotional fellating its doing?

Apple, Walmart to do $99 4GB iPhone? {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 4th 2008 2:32PM A reasonable monthly plan would be better.
