Verizon looking to bump early termination fee to $350 on 'advanced' devices {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 4th 2009 2:12PM I don't remember posting this ... or your other post previously ...

well, maybe it's because *I* didn't, but it sounds EXACTLY like something I would say, and probably have said in the past.

Grown Up is a perfect moniker in a situation like this.

AT&T sues Verizon over 'there's a map for that' ads {Engadget Mobile}

"Verapezon" - who?!

"censor text messages that they don't agree with" - absolute rubbish.

"lower cellular coverage for people out of 2-year contracts" - the coverage is the same regardless of contract. I don't know about possibilities, but I'd have to say that the end would outweigh the means in doing that- there would be no point, since people out of contract could just leave if their service was degraded.

"they charge an arm and a leg" - the major carriers are all nearly identical in pricing. The difference is what you get for the cost, such as add-on services like friends&family.

"Why do people even do business with these plankton?
Quite frankly, I'd rather use a pair of cans and a string to communicate than give a penny to those assholes." - and yet, you're reading the Verizon updates section. hm...

BlackBerry Storm update landing tomorrow, bringing lots of good stuff (update: now with changelog!) {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 25th 2009 2:53PM and when did that happen? all the reports and memos I've seen say 25th. oh, did I mention those came directly to my VZW employee email account inbox?

Video: BlackBerry Storm 2 gets yet another prerelease review {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 17th 2009 8:43PM I love how folks keep saying "they better get this or that right" or whatever. Get over it people. Just because YOU don't like your Storm, doesn't mean that other people don't.

Did I have the screen click issue? Yes. Did I read about different options on how to fix it? Yes. I used the Torx bit fix, and I haven't looked back.

I have had my Storm since about 2 weeks after launch and I haven't had any other issues besides those that I created myself. The main reason is because I'm an educated consumer and have researched, tried, tested, and am comfortable with the device and options.

oh, and nobody is going to get a free anything...

Verizon finally releasing BlackBerry Storm update this weekend {Engadget Mobile}

May 29th 2009 3:45PM can't have the proverbial cake and eat it too

which would you rather have:
- multiple updates that are buggy?
- a single update that is solid?

I'm guessing that anybody who is of speaking age would say the 2nd option. Releasing a buggy OS causes more problems than delaying a solid one.

We all know it's about time. But now it's coming, so let's just be happy that we got something instead of berating everything.
