HTC Dream FCC approved, Android clear for launch? {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 18th 2008 10:11AM well first off the problem with Sprint adopting the 'Dream' is that it is GSM, not CDMA. But Sprint is part of the 'Open Handset Alliance' and I've read elsewhere that Sprint should be getting an Android phone in the near future as well, but no word of when or in what form factor. People keep throwing around the word 'exclusivity' with T-Mobile, but that would kind of negate a large part of the reason Google got into the 'business' so I think your chance for Sprint are good... just may take a bit longer, besides then you'll benefit from all the bugs tat show up on T-Mobile.
Some analysts, PC makers express concern about netbooks {Engadget}
Jul 21st 2008 4:37PM I just can't imagine a netbook replacing my desktop or even a 'loaded' notebook. I see it a an additional mobile/portable device that will simply be useful for cloud computing and web/net use.... I can't imagine developing code on one longterm or even game playing... purely an accessory in my mind, larger than a smart phone but smaller than a notebook, and probably somewhere in the middle when it comes to actual use
How would you change Roku's Netflix Player? {Engadget}
Jul 5th 2008 7:24AM as for hardware, i can't comment since I don't have it yet, as for content... well, I fine with what Netflix provides and they keep adding more, but I would love to see them add access to sites like Hulu and other network tv webstream sites like NBCOlympics in time for the Olympics...

Roku's Netflix Player to stream content from other "big name" providers {Engadget}
Jul 3rd 2008 9:59AM I second that vote for Roku to add Hulu support, heck the only reason I haven't bought the Roku is since it only does Netflix, don't get me wrong, I'm an avid netflix fan and recommend it to everybody, but $100 for a single service device in todays online market is hard to say yes too...
I also hope it does things like add support for other TV station sites like NBCOlympics.com would be great, I'm a Mac/Linux user... the Olympics stream will currently only be for Windows.
