Nintendo moves 15 million Wii Fit units in a year, 4 remain in use {Engadget}
Jun 3rd 2009 12:05PM Actually, you can lose weight with the Wii Fit.
When I first got Wii Fit, I lost 5-7 lbs. But, like many other fitness situations, I stopped. Recently, I started up my fitness regimen again. I was walking for 3 weeks and got stuck at a certain weight. Fired up the Wii Fit again, and the pounds started coming off again.
The link you posted was about Wii Sports, not Wii Fit. But with Wii Sports, you don't have to do much to play those games. You can, but you don't have to. So it depends on how the study was conducted.
Your congressman wants an iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 22nd 2008 11:58PM You said that if the CAO doesn't approve, then the Member's Representational Allowance would have to pay for them, which would come from taxpayer money.
But wouldn't the iPhones be paid for with taxpayer money if issued by the CAO as well?

Is your Samsung Instinct acting up? {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 11th 2008 9:27PM When I had the Glyde (touch screen w/ physical slider keyboard), also made by Samsung - but for Verizon - it was very buggy. And it got worse not better. (I returned it.)
I was wondering if the same thing would happen with the Instinct, and it sounds like it has.

Jun 4th 2008 7:58AM Wow, that's a beautiful phone. I just wish the touch screen was bigger - no need for all of those controls.
But a physical keyboard is great - I'm having so much trouble typing on my iPhone.
Would love to see this with Android in the fall.
Samsung Instinct gets unboxed in someone's office {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 3rd 2008 9:35PM Hopefully it's better than the Glyde over at Verizon. I had that phone for a couple weeks and loved it until it was just calling people accidentally. It was too easy to unlock the phone just hanging out in your pocket or hand.
And hopefully Sprint will be better to the UI than Verizon (which totally mucked up the music part of the glyde).
otherwise, Samsung is going to be in for a rough ride.
