HP triumphantly returns to AT&T with iPAQ K3 "Obsidian" {Engadget Mobile}

May 24th 2009 7:06PM hmmmm. That screen looks like wm7. Have they got a working build for testing and did not think to take a shot from a 6.5 rom????

Palm Pre on June 6th for $200: It's official! {Engadget Mobile}

May 19th 2009 8:27AM I believe the way Sprint works it when they have a device listed as being with certain plans they are just saying you must use one of those plans to get the rebate. That being said if you wait a month or two and get on eon Craigslist you can put it on any plan.

Palm Pre "real reviewer" units going out? Not so fast. {Engadget Mobile}

May 13th 2009 8:56PM "does palm know how to do this right?"

I suppose they are doing something right as they is a tremendous amount of buzz on this blog and many others.

PSP2 rumor surfaces once more, sounds awfully familiar {Engadget}

Mar 3rd 2009 10:10PM For those that do not have hope in Sony for something other than memory stick support going forward, think about the fact that the ps3 has a sd and cf slot, and that Sony's ebook readers support both memory stick and sdhc, the newest one PRs-7000 supporting up 32gb of each!

How nice would it be to get a psp with better hardware, new design, higher resolution, 2 joysticks, accelerometer and up to 64 gb in expandable memory at one time.

I would buy one.

Palm confirms games are in development for Pre, drops a few other tidbits {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 19th 2009 10:44AM The applications that are written do not have to operate over the web, it just uses code that is used on the web. You will have the code on your device and the os interprets it but web is not neccessary. Think of google gears.

Editorial: Ten reasons why Windows Mobile 6.5 misses the mark {Engadget}

Feb 18th 2009 1:47PM As was pointed out this is not the final version. Will there be problems, yeah. IT IS 6.5 not 7, but this article does not hit the mark. You can't judge performance in this manner on something that is incomplete. The media player that you showed does look the same, but I have seen photos of the media player on another blog that clearly show that it has been tweaked. http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=2819

So shut up. Just shut up.

HTC's Touch Diamond / Pro, how would you tweak 'em? {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 9th 2009 3:05PM 1. A lot of the problems that are being mentioned can be improved if not solved by flashing a custom rom of doing registry tweaks found at xda developers or ppcgeeks. I know this is not for everyone and most people would say should not need be done, but it is there for people who complain about speed of the device, touchflo3d performance, battery life and others.

2. The 3.5mm jack was left out on both devices because it would have added to the thickness. That is the same reason the sd slot was left off of the Diamond.

3. I like the touch sensitive wheel but I wish there was a better implementation in order to free up the dpad buttons. As mentioned before it is tough to play games.

In closing, I have tweaked tf3d for better performance and to look ore like I want it, gotten the camera on the soft key on the home page of tf3d for a quicker launch (set up s2u to come back to home on unlock), people can find musicid and pandora for free (Pandora may be buggy there i also a last.fm client), Battery life is manageable once gotten used to. My biggest gripe os that there is OEM TF3d customization tool, and performance on 3d games which appears to be a driver issue not hardware.
