Rogers nabs HTC Dream and HTC Magic for Canada's first look at Android {Engadget}

May 7th 2009 12:31PM While it's true that the G1 has been out for ages and this is one of those "FINALLY!" moments with Rogers playing catchup, I am more excited for the Magic being released at the same time. Granted, I've already got an ADP1 on Rogers and them launching 3G for it would be swell, but a Magic would also be nice. Wonder what their HUP policies concerning these two'll be...

Future Shop feels really bad about Touch Pro mixup, offers Touch Diamond blowout as peace offering {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 18th 2008 1:12PM Rogers will offer and try to sign people up for four year terms when they can. At least they have the good graces to let someone upgrade their hardware after a year, though.

iPod nano 4G hands-on {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2008 3:09PM Having used one of the new Zunes, I have to say that the controls on the Zune are much, much more comfortable to use than the click wheel. Rotating your thumb in circles is not good - being able to go side to side or up and down without having to go around in circles is a bit nicer.

Rogers' regular sized BlackBerry Bold gets priced: $399.99 on a 3-year contract {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 17th 2008 1:17PM Of course, Rogers asks for a similar amount for a 16 GB iPhone 3G... all of a $50 difference, really...

Joyswag: PlayStation 3 (40GB) {Joystiq}

Jun 9th 2008 11:18PM I buy at Best Buy, Future Shop, or EBGames. They're all in the same place round these parts anyways...

iPhone 3G purchase and activation will be in-store only {Engadget}

Jun 9th 2008 11:11PM Old. The Canadian Apple Store has the iPhone 3G listed; the system requirements state that iTunes 7.7 will be needed. As it's not _out yet_, well... obviously activation'll be a bit different.

iPhone vs. HTC Touch Diamond vs. Xperia X1... Fight! {Engadget}

May 29th 2008 3:02AM yeah, um... logic does not work that way. I wonder what features most phones have/will have as standard in the future will be missing from the 3G iphone...

Creative reveals Fatal1ty-approved Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium {Engadget}

May 16th 2008 6:08PM Aside from the cover hiding all of the PCB, it has the same ports and is the same size as an X-Fi Xtreme Audio.

So, who else thinks that it's probably just a really crappy card with some stuff bolted on and the price jacked up $100 bucks?

Newsflash! Firmware 2.0 hints suggest Apple might be working on a 3G iPhone {Engadget}

May 10th 2008 11:03PM Or, using any one of a number of vastly less restrictive and draconian applications, you can put all your music and videos on the HTC diamond as you please.

That, and I don't think HTC will brick your phone if you put anything third party on it. :P

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 unboxing and hands-on {Engadget}

May 4th 2008 4:49AM You can already see their fingerprints on it just from opening it, and in the closeups it's already attracted dust and fibers....
