Sep 10th 2009 11:59PM Wow .. am i the only one that WELCOMES this addition .. ive NEVER used the mini player (on occasion ive used the dashboard widget) and the not being ABLE to zoom in itunes has driven me nuts (multiple monitors+laptop+i cant reach the Resize handle after unplugging)
I for one welcome our (now) properly operating green button (overlord).

NEEDS:
1. Free us from AT&T
2. Better app store approval, quit denying the useful apps -while approving garbage like fart apps, and lightsabers, and beer mugs. ( i'd like a GOOD VNC app, a Usable terminal emulator, a useful filebrowser/sharing app, WTF? dont deny useful things like "Clutch" and Goog-Voice.)
3. Back to the Aluminum case, i Still wont "upgrade" to a cheap-feel plastic phone, my last 3 phones have been metal , the next one will as well (this is actually my #1 gripe , im just tired of hearing everyone else bitch about Att)
4. Safari - it needs flash , and while im commenting on safari - it needs to release memory when not in use.(my phone should NOT slow down because i was using safari on lunch and forgot to close the extra 3 pages)
5. a/b/g/N - Quit dragging down my whole effing wifi network speed!
6. Skinnable/Editable OS, the ONLY THING i really miss from jailbreak on 1.0 is Summerboard
WANTS:
1. front facing camera that doubles as the Light sensor.
2. removable backplate and Battery
3. input device support in the os! i want to be able to pair a BT keyboard or plug in a dock>usb and use a gamepad or a mouse
4. while im wishing..... Less A$$hats buying the "cool new fone" and not reading the box, the instructions , the f****ng help guide thats on the phone and then complaining that it wont make toast or excrete blonde pornstars.

The sidekick blows. I Owned, and Used, and was an evangelist about the Sidekick, the sidekick Color and the sidekick2.
I now use an iPhone. the Sidekick was poor enough as a phone that i had to carry an extra phone !
the hardware broke constantly (3 generations of Sidekick, i went thru 14 phones, NO joke.)
Tmobile was horrible to deal with , their service(the phone) was horrible, their customer service when i called about my non working sidekick was horrific.
I literally had to goto T-Mobile stores and refuse to leave until my phone worked 5 TIMES!
it made me go back to a Phone only(SLVR) cellphone until i got my iPhone.
ATT - Great coverage & acceptable customer Service.
iPhone - Rock Solid hardware, and a Phone that you can talk on !
not even including all the other features the iPhone trumps any of the sidekick models in simply Using the Freekin phone. (the real "killer app")

I seriously want a Resident Evil compilation, you CANT go back to the GC version of RE:4 after playing the Wii version.
The controls suit the game so well , the Gc game .. all i wanna do is complain about the controls now! i want RE1&2 at the very least in the RE:4 Wii engine (1 was my personal favorite)
Next- a "light Gun" compilation of Old NES titles, and now with Sega as a software only company We CAN have Jungle Hunt tossed in.
a Goldeneye or PD remake or just slapping on the Wii controls would be AWESOME (esp. if it had online Multiplayer) - too bad RARE is m$.
Shadowgate!, it was already point and click! (not the Horrible horrible 64 sequel) new graphics, new animations, OMG it would be teh hotness
I'd Love to See an RE-4 style game -minus the waggle-matics(cinematic +waggle) with something more wii specific USING the motion controls, like a safe cracking mini-, putting the key in a hole and turning it ETC. There are 100000 minigames that have shown off all the little one off motions that can be used , i mean why should i just press "use key" when with the wiimote, i could hold the "use" button after selecting the key , then have to actually insert and turn it.
I'd also want somethin along the "twisted metal" and "vigilante 8" lines, drive with the nunchuck, shoot with the wii-mote, that was lacking from all those games, shoot other than the direction you are driving.
Also , the wii Lacks ANY Good Shooters that arent on the VC.
Blazing Lazers and Superstarsoldier are awesome , but .. can i have an Einhander(ps1) Port? Its the most under mentioned Game out there, when someone mentions Square , and their lack of anything that isnt FMV RPG action. I wanna Scream .. Einhander is the sole reason i still have a modded Ps1! (well that and N20) .. 2nd best shooter EVAR (behind Blazing Lazers)
But now im off track.
Why hasnt anyone moved into the RTS realm on the wii, ..you'd think point and click and the wii mote would be begging for a C&C 3, or a Generals, or hell even AOE or Starcraft

it was NEVER a quality question with clones, it was the fact that they were much MUCH BETTER than the Macs at the time.
Apple was being destroyed by its own channel partners(the clones undercutting their prices and Outperforming them at EVERY turn)
I myself am a PROUD owner of Several PowerTowerPros , and A couple of SuperMac S900s- they still work , and Still Smizzzzzzzoke the 95/8500s they were introduced against , as well as had a pricetag less than half of a "comparable" Mac.
Bad mouthing the clone companies is a Sure way to toss yourself on the "new mac user" bandwagon.
if you bought a starmax back in the day i can understand your frustration , but Cmon - The Powercomputing Pro lineup , the supermac Storm surge models, they are STILL the most powerful 604 based machines out there, even when comparing them to the 86/9600s the stability and reliability outshines the apple version completely- (the 86/9600s faster then 300mhz dropped like flies)
Dont be a bandwagon fanboy , spend some time with the hardware, just because Apple doesnt make it doesnt make it trash.
And After i say all this , it still doesnt matter, because yes they will get sued out of existence, and no they wont make even if they dont. Compaq and motorola couldnt keep their clones on the market, what makes you think these guys can?
