Oct 29th 2009 10:33AM Yes, the old mobile POS devices were Windows Mobile based. One of those odd little ironies.
Glad to see they've found a way to use their own products, as it eliminates said irony, and deomonstrates that the iPod touch (and iPhone I imagine) are capable mobile POS devices.
Personally I'd have used iPhones in store, a business user wanting to do this would no doubt want to see it working on the Iphone rather than iPod.
