Oct 14th 2008 5:29PM Yeah, because you NEVER have to touch the iPhone more than once to get it to register. Please people, get over the iPhone! Yes, it is a great device, but not every touchscreen phones that is released is aimed at competing with the iPhone. Touch is just becoming a new standard, alongside flip, candybar, slider, etc. Shut up already,

That is clearly the ATT symbol on the top right. A US carrier would never release a phone with a front-facing camera, at least not at this point in time.
BlackBerry Storm bows, comes next month to Verizon and Vodafone {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 8th 2008 11:51AM @ Chris:
While I do agree with what you have said, I also find it quite strange that the hands-on is NOT posted on Engadget Mobile, as Paul said. I'm sure there are several people who only check Engadget Mobile, like myself, thus many people will probably miss out on that valuable post. Do you not agree that a huge update for a huge mobile release such as the Storm should be posted not only on the main Engadget site, but the mobile specific site as well? That's just how I look at it.

Sep 12th 2008 11:08AM Don't trust them. They are not actually informed on what is coming to AT&T so that employee probably just either guessed or didn't know what phone you were talking about.

Sep 10th 2008 2:47PM @ What the Frack?!
Actually, it is a well known fact that CDMA phones tend to thicker than their GSM counterparts because of the internal hardware that has to be used. So no, it's not a load of crap, it's technology my friend.
BTW, great name! "What the frack!" I love Sci-Fi. lol

Sep 10th 2008 11:38AM @DssTrainer: "...Any phone thicker than the orignal iPhone should be thrown straight in the trash."
Not everyone wants a thin phone! Some people, to include myself, like to feel like they are holding something of some substance. There is this major assumption going on that because thin phones are popular right now, EVERYONE wants one. This is just not the case and I dream of the day that people realize that fact. Not everyone is the same, thus not everyone wants the same thing. Not to mention, a screen being capacitive does not guarantee better quality. Look at the Samsung Glyde: POS!!!
