Apr 29th 2008 2:03PM The Nokia 6205 will have EV-DO. You can even see the "EV" indicator on the screen. Here is the call-out specs on the phone from VZW's Equipment Guide: "A mass market device featuring clean, classic styling incorporating premium materials of metals and a soft touch around the sides for grip and durability. It offers easy to use features like calendar, contacts, voice recognition, has a 1.3mp camera and a battery that lasts 4 plus hours. The external music keys and the (large) 60MB of on-board memory, plus the external memory, allows easy access and massive storage of music and video offered via VCast services." This phone will definitely have EV-DO/VCast capabilites.

Verizon XV6900 available April 16 {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 7th 2008 1:37PM The pricing is incorrect. The XV6900 will retail at $419.99, 1 year at $369.99, and 2 year at $299.99, plus a $50 MIR with 1 or 2 year contact. Net 1 year price at $319.99, and net 2 year price at $249.99. Plus, if you qualify, you can get either a $50 or $100 advanced device discount (depending on price of calling plan and if you get unlimited data). So, on a 2 year contact with unlimited data, you could get the XV6900 for $149.99 after a $50 MIR, plus if you have NE2 (New Every Two), you could get the XV6900 for only $49.99 after all applicable discounts and MIR. A much better price than what Sprint is offering.
