Comcast bringing ABC Family HD / Disney Channel HD to Seattle market {Engadget HD}
Apr 7th 2008 5:03PM OK I have to say this news pissed me off. I live in a Comcast market with a grand total of 16 HD channels and to increase it to 18 with these two channels makes no sense. Not because I couldn't care less about the Standard Def version of these channels but in 2 weeks I haven't seen a single show or MOVIE broadcast in HD. Even movies that are fairly new are broadcast in 4X3 Aspect Ratio and as far as I can tell they are only upscaled SD signals. WASTE OF BAND WIDTH!!!

Feb 25th 2008 9:48AM I don't know it is nice to have seperate lines for home and cell phones. Lets be honest my DOCTOR has to call me to remind me about an appointment between normal business hours, but I sure the heck don't want to pay for it, so a home phone is a nice place to get the message sent for free.

I the person that spent $300 to avoid watching commercials and spends an additional $12.95 a month (for 3 years, yes I should have got the life time membership), am supposed to sit through a 15 minute commercial from cNet? Yeah, that is going to happen.
