Oct 10th 2006 6:04PM I can't see ANY parent dishing out $1,000 bucks for a console, let alone the required game-or-two AND extra controller. I predict the PS3 in Australia is set to be a "wow looks cool, can't wait till it comes down in price, lets go play the demo unit and then buy an 360" event, for quite a long long time.
Personally? I've preorded my Wii already, from Toys R Us Australia. They're offering a free game with any pre-order! So I'll be set up with 2 controllers, and two games (Wii Sports and Zelda) for under AU$500!
