Estée Lauder, Lancôme to launch vibrating mascaras {Engadget}
Jun 17th 2008 7:10PM Agreed. I jab my eye on a good day. This thing would be a nightmare. I'm already -4.00 in both, I don't need it to get worse! Ahhhh I can just see the lawsuits now. They'll have to cover themselves with some really good "warning" labels.
AMD achieves Open GL ES 2.0 compliance, brings Xbox 360 graphics to mobile platform {Engadget}
Jun 12th 2008 7:54AM Me too. I would love that. I've always prefered handhelds to consoles just because of their portability (same reason why I like laptops more than desktops). So if I could get the same sort of graphics from a console in a handheld, well, suffice to say it would be awesome. Plus I have a 360, I know what it can do and I love it. (I am an acheivement junkie...) When I first got my hands on a psp it was like a breath of fresh air (3D portable gaming?!). I think if they will come up with something it will be good.

I sincerely hope that was sarcasm. I'm 15 and I know what one is.
Perhaps those 5 years make all the difference.
Western Digital intros 1TB 7200RPM Caviar Black HDD {Engadget}
Jun 11th 2008 6:06AM What I meant was these look like decent hard drives, though I don't have a use for anything that large or fast. I know people who do need that much storage and that need it that fast and I find it rather disturbing that they are able to use up a TB so fast.

Jun 10th 2008 5:28PM Oooo! These look nice. Although I have absolutely no use for that much storage. Or 7200rpm (I can get by with 5400rpm or what ever the next step lower is. I'm not picky. As long as it has a decent amount of storage). I know people who use/need that much storage though. And it is truly disturbing.

Jun 9th 2008 7:43AM He is sucking his very life force out through his skull! Mwuhahah! They will harness this life force for the power of their Nano's. He looks like some scary alien brainsucker straight out of Star Trek.

Asus Eee PC 1000 vs Atom-based 901 vs original 701... fight! {Engadget}
Jun 8th 2008 4:31PM The thing is, with the 1000 series they are targeting traveling workers who need laptops but don't want to lug around heavy ones, need ultraportability and a lower cost. By lower cost I mean a lower cost of what UMPC's used to be. A decent Sony one (which was just about all that was out there that was an actual laptop) would be anywhere from $1800 to well over $2500. They are getting away from their original idea of the $100 laptop but they are coming closer to a new kind of reasonablely priced UMPC.

Exactly...
Well, by the U.S. conversion of the price in euros engadget gave multiplied by your estimate of 40,000 (I'm only using commas in the numbers for my own distinguishing purposes.)
With that price I'd want a 300 megapixel camera. It's a decent design but I prefer curved lines on a phone. Especially if I have it in my pocket. I was carrying my Mom's Razor for her once and ... it was painful.
