Nov 10th 2009 9:27AM Just got my Mot Droid and Eris activated (mine and Mrs. ineed911's) - these devices are really nice. I love the physical keypad of the Mot, but the Sense UI is digital sex, and the feel of the Eris is awesome.
Really happy to get back to Big Red too - today is a happy day.

Nov 1st 2009 9:30AM @uwaga dude - funny that a company of American sloth's changed the mobile handset market, and is the reason why an interface like this is even getting any attention
SonyStyle unleashes Sony Ericsson Aino in the US for $600 {Engadget}
Oct 28th 2009 1:35PM I am not sure why people keep saying that buying unlocked phones is such a financial advantage. I am a current AT&T subscriber with an unlocked phone - my unlimited data plan costs $15/month. The iPhone data plan is $30/month. If I bought an iPhone 3GS for $199 and signed a two year contract, the phone plus data plan would cost ($30 * 24) + $199, or $919.
If I stay with my current plan and buy the Sony Aino (and keep it for two years) that would cost ($15 * 24) + $600, or $960.
I am not saying that one is better than the other, as they are very different and there is no accounting for taste. However, it should be noted that there is no financial reward for buying an unlocked phone as some people keep suggesting (at least at this price point or higher).
Nokia N900 not coming until some time in November {Engadget}
Oct 22nd 2009 9:11AM I agree that it is always better to delay and release a better product, than to rush the release and have people left disappointed.
BTW - you should go ahead and stop using "waxed" in your articles - it's over.

Oct 15th 2009 8:20AM Nokia - if you put the N900 on Verizon or AT&T I will happily help boost sales by at least one device...

Oct 14th 2009 5:04PM Very interesting article - I am also a big fan of anandtech.com - who would build a new rig without reading up first?
I am very excited to get my first Android device, and now seems a good time to jump in. I am not that offended that the processor is relatively unchanged, as it forces better (read: well designed and more efficient) ROMs and better coding in general for Android apps.
Nokia N900 unboxed, and no, you can't unbox your own (yet) {Engadget}
Oct 12th 2009 4:48PM Huge fan of the hardware/Maemo - not such a fan of the carrier options though (or, lack thereof).
Second Verizon Android phone to be an HTC, Motorola Sholes makes an appearance {Engadget}
Oct 6th 2009 1:31PM I would be happy with either of these living at my house. I really loved the iPhone (until I dropped it and it broke), but have always been frustrated with AT&T's service. I am very excited about switching back to Verizon and sporting one of these real soon.
Nokia X6 gets set up for FCC testing, torn down for kicks {Engadget}
Oct 2nd 2009 4:35PM @Mark Anderson - _very_ impressive - does your "zing" still count if I don't have an iPhone? I currently use a Nokia N85 (which is terrible, btw).
I am only really biased against devices/platforms that are garbage - like this one.
Enjoy inferiority though...
