BlackBerry Tour announced by Sprint, too: $199.99 later this summer {Engadget}

Jun 16th 2009 4:06AM Agreed.

Most people love making comparisons without first stopping and studying what they are speaking about.

Blackberry's are almost at a point where it's impossible to compare them to other smartphones. BIS and BES are UNMATCHED. I really wish other companies would step it up when it comes to this because it's the ONE factor that is usually the deal breaker for me.

As a result I had to join CrackBerry anonymous.

Turn 10 on Forza 3: 'No game competes with us' {Joystiq}

Jun 6th 2009 5:08AM U realize that GT4 is on PS2 correct?

No way that game can have as many calculations and graphical fidelity that Forza 2 on the 360 does.

I'm not talking load times. I'm talking features, innovation and graphical fidelity.

Jun 6th 2009 3:00AM Disagree.

I actually think the opposite. For a game that has been worked on for so long they sure are lagging on innovation.

Heck the only thing they recently brought out was the interior driver view.

How can a game that prides itself in realism be considered the best and yet it doesn't punish the driver if he down shifts too early. In real life if you go from 6th gear to 3rd you are gonna pay the price. Well Forza does punish the driver. So I logically can not reach the same conclusion you have reached.

Jun 6th 2009 2:46AM He was not speciffically referring to different cars (colors and models).

There is a feature on Forza related to A.I.. Not every car on the track races the same. Some racers have more aggressive "racing" personalities or traits that immensely differentiate them from the rest of the cars on the road.

In other words. Forza tries it's best to make you feel as if you are actually racing against other humans not robots.

Jun 6th 2009 2:38AM How in the world is GT4 better than Forza 2?

Jun 6th 2009 2:36AM Notice how none of the die hard fanboys even reply to this post.

Come on guys defend GT.

"Teh Forza damage sux !!"

Yeah well at least we are actually afraid of hitting each other while racing. Or grinding/slamming up against a wall. Or down shifting to soon and damaging the engine.

Jun 6th 2009 2:33AM It's easy to make comparisons and boast about sales when there was no other credible competitor at the time (both console wise and game wise).

I would love to see GT5 do those same numbers.

Popularity is not a measure of greatness. So even if GT5 sells more than Forza (which it probably will) that does not necessarily mean that they are the innovators of the Car Sim genre.

In fact in the past 4 years Forza has been the innovator. (damage, intelligent racing lines, modifications, interior view etc..)

Jun 6th 2009 2:25AM The only edge I have noticed that GT has on Forza is that GT is not just a Racing Sim.

It focuses on licenses and events as a real racer would. So you could kinda say that it's got a bit of a Racer Sim in it (live the life of a racer).

Personally I could care less about licenses and the whole Racer Sim aspect.

Jun 6th 2009 2:22AM I'm so tired of all these GT fans. I'm not saying it's bad to be a GT fan. But damn dudes, all you guys know how to say is "Teh damage in Forza suX". My friends you are entitled to your opinion however I would like for you to know that "Damage is better than no damage". And no I don't see how it sucks it's actually pretty good.

You hit a wall and that part of your vehicle is damaged (you might lose a bit of speed or handling). You hit something hard enough your engine might be damaged and the car performs worse.

You guys got some weird logic. If it's realism we are seeking then damage is better than no damage. PERIOD ! (unless the damage is just insane and the car blows up like a mini Hindenburg every time it's even tapped by another car).

When damage comes to the GT series and it's even remotely close to whats on Forza, I'm going to LMAO so hard.

Jun 6th 2009 2:12AM Excellent analysis. I too feel like the percentage of folks that bought a PS3 for a racing sim is greater than that of 360 owners.

Just think of all the Europeans that bought it for GT5.

Not only that but you would have to be a fool to not see GT as the more popular of the two. So to be fair to Forza I don't think the odds are in it's favor. Even if it is a better sim.
