HTC Hero caught flashing some Android in the wild? {Engadget Mobile}
May 5th 2009 4:19PM I remember reading an interview with someone at HTC that said the chin was to help protect the trackball without recessing it to the point it's hard to use (like the pearl flip), so then Why the fuck is there a chin on this thing, and the biggest yet at that?!
Nokia 5800 Tube browser screenshots appear, underwhelm {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 5th 2008 12:31PM of course if he really is referring to the icons, then I completely agree with, you if that's all you can complain about I guess that's a good thing

Aug 5th 2008 12:29PM I think he is refering to the fact that the icons take up so much of the screen real estate, not the icons themselves

Apr 18th 2008 8:44AM I was thinking it looked like an uglier version of the BB Curve, but I guess it does look more like the Q9m/Q9c

Apr 4th 2008 12:02PM UMB or Ultra Mobile Broadband, is a 4G spec from Qualcom, I'm not aware of anyone that has announced that they will use it though. I also though I remember reading somewhere that WiMax wasn't declared 4G but 3.5G or something, am I wrong on that?
Comcast, Time Warner, Sprint, and Clearwire could join forces on WiMAX, help from Google and Intel possible {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 26th 2008 10:52AM I'm sure this isn't meant as a replacement to their cable lines. It's probably meant as a supplement. AT&T and Verizon can offer landlines and wireless internet through their cellular networks. With this Comcast, and Time Warner can have a way to offer wireless Internet to their road warrior customers without them searching for a hotstop, and get that much more money out of people.

Mar 12th 2008 10:29AM "I've felt less uncomfortable in leaving my glasses home."
Won't work for me I'm as blind as a bat. If I left my glasses at home I would end up disconnected from any gadgets I remember to bring with me simply because I couldn't see them. Not to mention the discomfort I would get from probably driving my car into someone's house thinking I was still on the road.
Latest financials confirm it: Sprint and Nextel probably shouldn't have merged {Engadget Mobile}
