The Daily Turn On! Guitar Hero ... Addiction or Hobby? {That's Fit}

Mar 26th 2008 3:00AM Not that I have anything against Guitar Hero, but Guitar Hero is a great game and your son and other people have lots of fun playing it but they would NEVER really learn the skill of playing a guitar. So my advice to you is to get Guitar Wizard. Guitar Wizard is a video game which will teach your son how to play the guitar and read notes as well. Your son would be able to learn how to play the guitar within a month of using Guitar Wizard. Here's another video of Guitar Wizard. Your son will learn to play virtually any song with Guitar Wizard. For more information, please read this article about Guitar Wizard.

Mar 12th 2008 2:10PM It sure looks like Pete Townshend, doesn't it?
All the more appropriate for our game, eh?

Our designers tell me they got that stock image through their ShutterStock membership. But, maybe we should approach Pete for an endorsement as well!

Mar 11th 2008 10:04AM Many gamers will certainly enjoy having GH on their cell phones!

However, I must say, Engadget's interview of my employer, Chris Salter, and his new Guitar Wizard prototype is turning some heads [actually, 77,000 of them on YouTube].

I especially liked the buttons on the remote -- "poison gas" was my fav.

Instead of RB, I wonder how they'd do with the new Guitar Wizard(http://youtube.com/watch?v=VPXL1E4UxZY)!

Guitar Wizard: Guitar Hero with a real guitar {Engadget}

Feb 28th 2008 9:31PM >> Well that's one company CEO who clearly doesn't watch South Park.

Actually, Music Wizard Group's CEO, Chris Salter, gets the point of the South Park video quite well. The point, I believe, was that in the end playing GH offers no value (other than it's fun) to the player.

With Guitar Wizard it's actually not that way at all. The whole point of GW is to teach you to read music and play the guitar. Once you've "reached 1,000,000 points" on GW, so to speak, you will be able to play any song on the guitar for which you can find music.
