Nokia 6555, now in "sand" {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 18th 2008 4:25PM I have had the turn off on its own problem. My boyfriend went in with his "technilogical eye" and discovered that one of the battery connects is too short and will lose touch with the battery. He fixed my putting a piece of paper behind and above the battery to push it down into the connectors.

Aside from that, my only real issue with the phone is that the battery life is horrible. I get a day, if I'm lucky and use the phone minimally. And the car charger that I have (bought specifically for this phone) has stopped being accepted by the phone. I continue to get a "Charger not compatible" message when I try to hook it up.
