Didn't take long: Chrysler's $2.99 gas guarantee draws critics {Autoblog Green}

May 6th 2008 9:10PM I guess this all depends on how high gas prices go. By the looks of it, It'll be at 4$ by the summer. And there's no relief in sight. Also, if gas were to go down under 2.99, they did say you aren't forced to use the card. Either way, if someone wants a gas guzzling Jeep, they're going to get a Jeep.

FiOS TV service is great, Verizon customer service -- not so much {Engadget HD}

Mar 29th 2008 1:05AM Were still waiting on that Sharp hdtv as well. Keep in mind we started the service January 5th, and it is now almost April and still no HDTV. And yes, even though we cancelled our service we still are eligible for it

FiOS TV service is great, Verizon customer service -- not so much {Engadget HD}

Mar 29th 2008 1:02AM You should have seen the bill we got from them. Its one of the many many reasons we discontinued our Verizon service less than a month in. Misquoting our bill, charging us for an extra box, charging us for an HD box when it was a normal box. Their customer service was TERRIBLE. We had to speak with 4 separate people before they did anything about the bill. Then they told us we had to pay for installation fees even though we cancelled within the month. We were told it would be no charge if we were to cancel when we did. We battled that bill for 2 months until they finally gave and credited our account.

And to Chesnu1, you don't want it. Trust me. You'd be better off with an analog antenna than Verizon.
Verizon is an all around terrible company. I hate their service. Hate their cell phone service as well. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Stick with your local cable company, or even satellite. Just stay away from verizon.

Windows Mobile 6.1 for BlackJack getting hacked to perfection {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 26th 2008 9:19PM Come on 8525. I won't be to disappointed if we don't get it, as we just got WM6, but It'd be cool. There's not much more I could possibly need on the phone that I don't already have though...So I have no idea what else will be on the 6.1.

Mar 15th 2008 6:54PM Gimpgutter, I hate the be the bearer of bad news, but I had fios for a month. I hated it, so we went back to comcast.
Terrible service
Terrible channel order
Terrible guide
Terrible picture quality
Terribly long to install the whole thing (Took almost 10 hours)
Every single thing you want is an extra fee.
A Verizon tax. It said on the bill "Verizon tax" Not quite sure what it means, but sounded like it was a fee Verizon gets in pocket.
Even the man that came to pick up our boxes (He works for Verizon) refused to switch to Fios because of the horror stories.
Oh, and I kept getting disconnections and bog downs on my internet. I had to restart my modem daily.
If i think of any more complaints I'll let you know.
And to prove I'm not a "fanboy" of comcast, my father used to work for them, but recently got let go. That was the main reason we tried Fios.

Chicago 2008: Chevrolet adds flex-fuel capability to HHR {Autoblog Green}

Feb 6th 2008 5:09PM But little do these companies know that this ethanol craze causes just as much pollution and hazards to our environment. The crops of this corn that produces ethanol is poisoning the Gulf of Mexico with extreme amounts of nitrogen found in the fertilizers. Also, Ethanol has less power, meaning it takes more ethanol to power a car than gasoline. In the end, it emits just as much pollution into the air as gasoline.
