Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 review {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 12th 2008 9:47AM OK, there was a site that showed that the latest build actually supported the 1700MHz T-mobile freqs...is that true?

FCC approval ensures American Sony Ericsson X1 users aren't bandits {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 4th 2008 10:30AM OK, something is off here! The SE USA website specs for the X1a show a 1700 UMTS band. If so, then no issue working on T-mob ~ even though T-mob has some reports of supporting 2100Mhz as well. I didn't see the 1700Mhz band tested by the FCC. Anyone know if 1700Mhz truly will be supported?

Oct 4th 2008 9:46AM Yes, you need the X1a to work on T-mob. A shame they didn't just make one universal device. Link below comparing the specs:

T-Mobile soft capping 3G data at 1GB per month {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 24th 2008 9:51AM I agree. You don't get charged against your data from your own network...only on T-mob's 3G Network. You're telling me you don't have a WiFi network at home? Hotspot at home is only $10.

Microsoft offers $44.6 Billion for Yahoo {Engadget}

Feb 1st 2008 7:42AM For the love of God, do NOT let MS buy Yahoo. Name one product that MS makes that works flawlessly! They don't need to bring their "jack of all trades" attitude to Yahoo. I see a mass exodus coming.
