Major wireless carriers all slapped with text-messaging class-action lawsuit {Engadget}

May 20th 2008 9:09AM you can block txting and internet with any carrier. Sprint and eventualy tmo will allow you to block individual #'s. This law suit is insanly dumb. But as is common in america....groundless law suits always get settled and the important ones get thrown out......flame away all you want but you guys no as much as i do that this is stupid. Everything is disclosed at the POS as far as txting and internet charges go so these charges that these people dont know about it are groundless........last time i checked stupidity or ignorance is not an excuse in a court of law

Monster brings Speed-Rated HDMI cables to Canada, gross markup likely in tow {Engadget HD}

Feb 18th 2008 9:03AM Speed rating or bandwidth rating actualy can make a difference tho.Which is why most brands do it they just dont advertisie it like monster does. The amount of information flowing through the cable varies by source and when you have say.... A Blu ray player out putting 1440p or greater (which can happen)with deep color etc, uncompressed audio and all that jazz it sucks up major bandwitdh and therefore a regular hdmi cable (2.23 gbps) may not always cut it

Feb 14th 2008 11:38PM How blind do you have to be? It says nothing about releasing new titles only creating titles. This reads very clearly to me that they will MAKE more of the HD dvds that they have out not release new ones on hd dvd. Maybe im dumb who knows

Toshiba gearing up to drop HD DVD? {Engadget HD}

Feb 14th 2008 11:35PM @nfinity
Are you that much of a tool??? The Warner Bros release says NOTHING ABOUT publishing new movies. It just says that they will make the ones if the demand is there. The way this reads to me is that they will continue to make previous releases IF the demand is there but it says NOTHINg new ones. Im as purple as they come but even i can see that this is over give it up for all that is holy
