I'm sure that if you were being hurtled backwards by the force of an elephant you WOULDN'T try to grab onto anyone and anything around you. I know I'd rather plummet to my death than ever consider touching another guy, even if it meant saving my pitiful homophobic life. Seriously, I don't get what everyone's beef is with the physics engine here. This is very similar to using the gravity gun in Half-Life 2, the highlight of that game, except the a.i. wasn't nearly as responsive as here. I don't remember anyone complaining about that when it debuted. I can almost guarantee that when August comes and the only two games you'll be able to choose from are this and Madden NFL 09 everyone complaining about the physics looking "awkward" will be buying it. People always have to find something to complain about.
