Telefonica announcing 3G iPhone, or 2G iPhone for Latin America, or nothing at MWC {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 27th 2008 9:42AM So... There are a bunch of unlocked iPhones roaming in Brazil, and it will be neat to see some official devices coming.
I fear for the price of the official thing, though, since everything regarding Apple is highly overpriced 'round here. (think about 50% more, the unlocked iPhone included!)

DIY rollable keyboard exudes simplicity {Engadget}

Jan 27th 2008 4:32AM I can't help but feel that this pwned the R&D of those roll up keyboard makers...

Universal Remote's KP-900 RF keypad / remote makes pit stop in FCC {Engadget}

Jan 27th 2008 4:18AM @silverblackvoid: Thanks for the kind words!

@austin: Attention to the curved buttons and how the light reflects: IMHO practically everything is drawings some inspirantion from this kind of reflection physics, the upper half with at least 25% more brightness than the lower half.

Crowd-monitoring humanoid helps lost mall patrons, likely freaks them out {Engadget}

Jan 26th 2008 5:53PM Ok, now THIS is scary.

Jan 26th 2008 4:43AM Apple did it again.
Does anyone remember how not every headphone would fit in the iPhone?

Jan 25th 2008 6:33PM Are we getting closer to Ghost in the Shell-like limbs? And, maybe sometime not too far from now, entire bodies?
I will surely like to see how things like this turn out! The exoskeletons some companies are developing also look promising: the times to come are promising, sure.

Jan 25th 2008 6:25PM Isn't is it just a matter of time until we see a price drop (and a doubling on the size of the HDD)?

MacBook Air review {Engadget}

Jan 25th 2008 6:19PM No, really.
The MBA is not for playing Crysis or doing heavy-duty stuff like 3d animations.
It's for presentations, writing dissertations and (God forbid) looking cool browsing the net while on the campus Wi-Fi hotspot, so I think the specs are just fine.
The high price-tag is a downside, but aren't all Apple products expensive by default?
