The context that VZW is using the word HUB implies that they are rolling multi services such as VZNavigator, Text messaging, Pix messaging, Calenders and Voice all into a central unit or HUB as it were. You will be able to use it with VZW service or you can bring your own access with your existing service provider. Think Vonage VoIP units. The unit will have a nice large touch display. It will cost $249.99 on a 1yr contact and then if you sign up for 2yrs it will have $50.00 mail in rebate. Yes before everyone ask yes I work for VZW and I was bored the other day and found all this out.

Mar 15th 2008 2:08PM I currently have the EnV and this would be a nice upgrade to it just for a few simple reasons. The first one is the phone has a lot of unused space so once all of that has been removed you come up with the new EnV2 size. The internal display looks to be the same size maybe a little bit bigger then the EnV and thats good because certain things are a bit hard to read on it. The front of the phone on the EnV2 is nice and clean looking. Id say all in all just on looks the EnV2 is a nice progression in the EnV family of handset. It terms of features I guess we would have to wait and see until the phone comes out to see if it really has anything new to offer or the same stuff as the EnV just with a new skin.

Mar 12th 2008 7:36PM Just an FYI if you download a song off of VZW handset its 1.99 because you get 2 copies 1 for your handset and then another one you can download from your computer. So if you did the math your paying the same price as iTunes if you were to do the same thing.

Mar 12th 2008 2:56AM Hey the iPhone Fanboys at Engadget have struck again with another one about the beloved iPhone. It never stops to amaze me how much they love this freaking phone. Considering it comes lock to AT&T doesn't support Java or MMS... But hey I can surf the web on my EDGE connection or those Starbucks Wi-Fi locations. Why would I wasnt to use my cell phone providers high speed data network..... Oh thats right thats because your ipod touch...woops I mean iPhone doesn't have that feature...
No I'm not a hater on the iPhone I like the design, love the GUI they use and its built on OSX so we know it will work unlike WinMo 6 / 6.1. Has access to iTunes but I think all those online sites are rip off doesn't matter what one you use. They charge way too much to some stupid singer that happens to come up with a hook to some song. Sure lets pay a rock / rap / metal / pop group millions of dollars to sing because they couldn't get any other jobs. But hey lets pay our teachers 18K in some states to teach our kids...

Feb 28th 2008 10:43PM So let me see if I have this right everything thats posted they rather go to another provider because of the new / old 5GB limit on the new plans. If you weren't downloading movies, porn, or playing WOW all the time you would be hard press to hit the 5GB limit. All I'm hearing is bitch, bitch, bitch.... Yes, lets all go to sprint the reason why they don't limit anything is because thats the only way they can keep customers.
